I got a bad haircut today. After an entire year of not getting even a trim, my thick mane became a lifeless, unmanageable nuisance that reached all the way down to my lower back. I had been going to the same hair stylist for the past eleven years but when I moved away from my hometown, I was forced to find someone new. Today as I was running errands around town, I spontaneously walked into a nearby hair salon without looking at any reviews first. This was completely uncharacteristic of me but I was hooked when the receptionist told me that haircuts there were only a quarter of the price of what I was used to paying. I applauded myself for saving so much money but as soon as I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, my heart dropped.

You know how it is, this time of year we all get a little run
down.
This season it seems like everyone I know is getting sick.
So a quick tip from me - I have a Berocca everyday which is great
to have in the morning. I've been taking it everyday for the last 2
years, and I've never been sick (touch wood).
So if you are interested in doing this then being able to buy
Berocca for the best price is key, as it's not cheap.
So here is my tip:
1. always buy it from Boots - I go for the
3 for 2 deals
2. use your boots card as you get 44 points. I think the Boots card
has one of the best points to redemption ratios
3.

As you likely have heard, what with it being all over the news, the Microsoft's new Kinect motion controller was released earlier this week. However, before you go rushing out to buy one, you probably want to ensure that it's worth the investment. £130 is a rather large investment for an accessory for your gaming console, after all. I mean, with that much money, you could purchase a
new clothes dryer from Asda. So, with options like those on the table, how do you choose where to spend your money? That's where Savoo comes in.

Deals, coupons and promotions are all wonderful but nothing beats free! Free cheese samples at the grocery store? I am there. No lactose intolerance is going to slow me down! Next time your friends swing by the flat with a six-pack, why not save the carrier, cover it with attractive paper and transform it into a pretty carrier to store craft supplies, tools or even eating utensils for a picnic? How about taking free paint chip samples from the hardware store and using them to spice up packaging for your bake sale goods or your Christmas presents?

As we're sure most of you have noted,
Google's inexplicable homepage doodle from yesterday consisted of nothing more than a group of balls that jumped around the page upon being hovered over with the mouse cursor. Though nobody has been able to figure out what the purpose of the doodle was, a few theories have manifested themselves. The most prominent of these is that Google is simply celebrating its 12th anniversary in a rather peculiar way. Others suggest that, because HTML5 was used to encode the doodle, it's the company's way of trying to push users to upgrade their browsers to HTML5 compliant ones. Beyond that, there are also rumblings that the new doodle is in preparation for some major announcement soon to be made by the search giant. Here at Savoo, all we know is that the logo doodle makes no sense to us and is there for no real reason. The same way these deals are here for no real reason (Other than to save you money, of course. And the fact that they're vaguely tech related.):

Buying a new car is a great experience.
Getting it fixed is not nearly as exciting – especially if you have to pay for repairs out of your own pocket. For this reason, you may want to consider buying an extended warranty.
Every new car comes with a manufacturer's warranty that generally lasts
between three and five years, and covers basic and power train repairs.
But what happens when this warranty expires? At this point, you are
responsible for the cost of all repairs no matter what they may be;
unless you opt for an extended warranty.

At their Autumn 2010 event, Apple spent a good amount of time introducing their new collection of iPods. Nearly their entire line, from the miniscule
iPod Shuffle, to the flagship
iPod Touch, has been revamped in some form or another. The Shuffle's form factor now returns to the familiar clip shaped design of two generations ago, while the
Nano has been markedly reduced in size and features a small multi-touch display with over 24 hours of battery life. The iPod Touch, meanwhile, has received both front and rear facing cameras, along with support for the company's FaceTime software, adapted from the iPhone 4. Before you run off and pre-order your new mp3 player, however, you may want to keep the following money saving tips in mind:
