Access Self Storage's call on the nation to take part in its biggest charity appeal ever for Christmas has received a welcome boost from online communities and Mummy Bloggers this December.
Access Self Storage has been calling on the nation to donate new and unwanted
Christmas gifts for 20 children's charities across the country this year.
"We have been overwhelmed with the response of the campaign to date. Across the country we have had a fantastic response from
businesses and communities giving to the appeal. We are particularly pleased to see that online people have been doing their bit to promote the campaign," said Kevin Pratt PR Manager at Access Self Storage.
"In less than a month the YouTube video promoting the appeal has had over 6,000 views and the dedicated charity Twitter feed has nearly 1,000 followers: the nation is helping our appeal to go viral and we are using blogs and social media channels to keep everyone informed of the appeal's progress to date."
Access Self Storage has been collecting donations on behalf of the charities and by donating new and unused presents, games and toys to the special drop off point, many people can help give a gift to a disadvantaged child this Christmas. The appeal has received significant coverage nationwide online with regular
blog updates.
