When the team at Savoo were invited by Affiliate Window to join the 2012 Super Games for the 2nd time running we saw this as great opportunity to show off our athletic builds and team spirit but more of the latter.

Stuff We Like
Have you been taking care of yourself with a 'new year, new you' resolution or two? Are you sweating out the sweets and drinks from the festive season with Zumba, boxing, yoga, pilates or any other form of exercise? Have you taken on a new fitness hobby or are you reinvesting in an old favourite? If you have undertaken the task of improving your health then it might be time to invest in some decent workout clothing and gear.
For the greater part of the past several months, we've worked long and hard for this. Scores of people have sacrificed everything, from their reputation to their sanity, all in the name of securing this victory. Never could we have imagined that this day would come, and yet, here we stand, with the fruits of our labour sitting before us. Enjoy this victory, for you've earned it. We have all earned it. Yes, the rumours you've heard are true – the word vuvuzela has been added to the Oxford Dictionary of English.

My rugby match was cancelled last weekend but we did undertake a forwards training session which basically involved a bunch of blokes standing around in a recreational park close to the M25 motorway taking it in turns to knock each other to the ground.

Money Saving Tips
I'm sure you've been waiting with bated breath since my last post so you'll be please to hear that my first game of the season was a resounding success: we won!
The first game of the season is always tough, whatever sport you play. For rugby players in the UK – used to plodding around in the rain and cold - the first game can be even more problematic if the sun is shining as it was on Saturday. It can seriously affect your game, especially if you're a big lump Forward!

Can you believe it's that time of year again? The rushing around attending Sports Days and Parents Evenings, hunting for cheap but meaningful Thank You gifts for teachers and getting a mountain of paper, art and projects back in return. Yes, it's official - the Summer Holidays are nearly here and we've got 6 weeks to fill before Autumn term starts and everything in the world is right again. Pre-empting the squabbling brought on by mass boredom (when will schools change things to a 4-term year?) I've found some pretty good deals to keep the kids and my wallet happy!
