Last year my life, and my skin, changed for the better thanks to the miracle in a pot that is Boots no 7 Essential Moisture day cream.
Encased in a glossy white jar and with a smooth as silk texture it bears all the hallmarks of a high-end brand without the punishing price tag.
I first chanced upon this bargain beauty find when a friend bought me a no 7 gift pack and, after languishing atop my chest of drawers for a number of months, I finally delved into the beautifully decorated box to fish out a mini face cream that would tick all the right boxes when it came to those pesky airport restrictions – every girl's worst nightmare realised!
After a few days of absentmindedly slathering the mixture onto my face, I noticed that a brighter, fresher version of myself was staring back at me.

Busy crossing names off your gift giving list? Good for you! After all, this is the season of giving. Of course, that also means that someone out there is planning on giving to you as well. Hopefully your loved ones know you well enough that you can avoid those awkward moments of disappointment when you open a gift that is just sort of wrong. Yet, we all have that one particular person who, no matter how well intentioned, always gets it wrong. To help avoid those long pauses wrapped in frozen smiles as you search for a polite way to say thank you, here is a helpful gift list for the beauty and fashion lover to share with the blissfully clueless.
In today's society, health and beauty products have become essential items for both men and women. These products, which span a number of different areas, can cost anything from a few pounds to several hundred! With finances continuing to be tight for many of us, keeping our finances healthy and looking good is as important as keeping ourselves healthy and looking good. Nevertheless, with some savvy thinking, it is achievable.

Money Saving Tips
Last year, NHS Direct received 850,000 calls over the festive period, a 16% increase on the year before. So, to ensure you stay healthy and your Christmas isn't ruined by illness, we've put together a Savoo survival guide.
Stock up - The most common ailments over the festive period
include coughs and colds, indigestion and hangovers. Fortunately, these
are all things that can be dealt with quite effectively with products
available at your local chemist. Unfortunately, if you don't have
any of these products - especially when everything is shut on Christmas
Day - then you'll have to suffer your way through the biggest day of
the season. Plan ahead and stock up on antacids, cough medicine, Vitamin
C and paracetamol, along with plasters and ointments for any unexpected
bumps and falls (we all have an elderly aunt who might over-indulge on
the sherry!) Try Boots or Asda if you'd rather not venture out in this weather and want to find all those OTC remedies in one place.
British Summer Time (an oxymoron if ever there was one) officially ended last weekend and this work week has been the first of many in the long winter months ahead where twilight is setting in before the work day finishes. But what price are we paying for that extra hour in bed we all enjoyed on Sunday morning? Well, at least 7 per cent of us are quite literally paying with our sanity according to a report in the British Medical Journal. So, could you be suffering with SAD?
Putting back the clocks has been an annual event in the UK since 1916
when the then-Government adopted a Daylight Saving system to save coal
by having longer daylight hours. Nowadays many people opposed to the
Spring and Autumn changing of the clocks not only argue that the energy
savings are negligible but are also bad for our mental health.
which stands for Seasonal Affective Disorder, is a type of winter
depression thought to be triggered by the clocks going back. Half a
million Brits are affected by the condition every year, suffering with
problems sleeping, lethargy, loss of concentration, anxiety and over
eating (it's no coincidence that companies like WeightWatchers see a massive uptake by the beginning of Spring).
