Three pregnancies down the line I feel quite qualified in giving
advice on what's good and what's not when it comes to maternity and
breastfeeding products. Thanks to my blog I have been privileged to
test out some of the latest and greatest inventions to make maternity
and breastfeeding that much easier and fun too.
During this pregnancy I was asked if I would like to review the fabulous new Bibee Dresses
which has been designed to see an expectant Mum through her maternity
and into nursing. This couldn't have come at a better time for me as I
had previously disposed of all of my old maternity wear and so was
having to start again. In both of my previous pregnancies I lived in
maternity jeans and t-shirts but since this was to be my last pregnancy I
wanted to do things differently, I wanted to feel more feminine, I
wanted to wear dresses and soft fabrics that would be comfortable yet
stylish and more importantly, easy to wash and wear...

I want to show you a couple of baby shower ideas this week. Last year when I was pregnant with Thrifty Baby, I didn't have a baby shower. They aren't really my bag; in fact, the baby shower is one of the American imports I like least. We had a
baby cake reveal party for close family instead: no presents, but a lot of fun.
If only I had met Emily sooner!

I discovered Isabella Oliver Maternity wear when I was pregnant with
Dylan and in need of a dress to wear to a wedding. I bought a gorgeous
blue one shoulder dress which fitted perfectly and was so comfortable
over my huge bump. It was five days before he was born and the dress
perfectly hugged my curves and made me feel elegant (no easy feat with a
beach ball shape on your front!)
I wore the same dress this year to a wedding at 16 weeks pregnant and it
still fitted beautifully. The way it hugs your body means even a
little bump is defined and I did not need to worry about the 'fat or
pregnant' question coming up! I felt comfortable in it and love how
versatile it is, adapting to each stage of pregnancy...

Pregnancy plays havoc with our bodies, well it did mine. It particularly did a number on my teeth, however, it does pay to remember that in the UK you get free dental treatment on the NHS during pregnancy and after for a year.
Vivienne Egan who writes for Ethicare Dental has some great tips on looking after your teeth during pregnancy and why pregnancy can affect your teeth. The extra hormones firing in your body means that your gums can soften and bleed, leading to gum disease such as gingivitis, as well as tooth sensitivity and other issues which can affect both you and your baby if not addressed properly – studies are underway to find out if there is a link between gum disease and low birth weight.
So how should you look after your gums and teeth during pregnancy...

Health and Beauty
Growing up I always listened and took note when people commented on how young my Mum always looked and I would watch her myself, always taking good care of her skin. When I used to ask her she said that she took care of herself so that she would always look the best that she . . . → Read More: B Organic Skincare for the Mum-to-be

Money Saving Tips
Having been pregnant a few times now I know the need to take care of myself, my hair, my body, my skin because with each pregnancy it gets that little bit harder to get things back to how they were. So I want to share with you all the fab products that I have been using to pamper and preen myself;
Bio-Oil
This was the one product I wished I had used from the very start of
my pregnancy with Little Bean but I didn't actually discover it until
after her birth. After her birth I began using it to lessen the effects
of my stretch-marks and throughout my pregnancy with Beanie Boy I used
it to great effect. It has become my partner in crime on matters of
maternity and motherhood...
