INF exists to empower Nepal's poorest people and communities through life-changing health and development.

Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world.

In the remotest areas, life can be a hand-to-mouth existence. Traditional farming methods are often unable to supply sufficient food for the whole year.

Medical services are usually not free. In many parts of the country healthcare is extremely limited, and some people continue to look towards traditional ‘healers’ for help. Those living with any kind of disability often face severe discrimination, and leprosy continues to affect people’s lives.

Did you know...

Medical staff in our three hospitals bring healing and hope to thousands of Nepali people each year.

Teams also travel to remote districts to provide specialist services at government health posts.

We also work with people living with disabilities in their own communities.

We help local people set up self-help groups so they can develop their own communities in the way they want.

We offer training to enable people to set up their own businesses or improve their agricultural skills so they can lift themselves out of poverty.

What makes INF different

INF is the longest standing international NGO in Nepal with more than 60 years of experience serving Nepali people.
