My phone has a problem, what is my warranty?
If your phone develops a fault within twelve months of purchase, it's covered by the twelve-month warranty that comes with most handsets purchased directly through e2save. If the fault develops within the first month, contact the customer service team to arrange an exchange. Outside of the first month, take your handset to your nearest Currys store, and a member of the team will fix it for no additional cost. Beyond the twelve-month window, contact the phone manufacturer directly to arrange a fix which may come with additional fees.
Can I return my device?
Once you receive your handset, you can turn it on and inspect it to ensure it's what you want. If not, you can return it free of charge, as long as you haven't made any calls, sent any texts or downloaded any data. All items that you return must be in their original packaging with all accessories included. It needs to be within the 14 days cooling-off period from when your order was delivered. However, you cannot return top-ups, Bluetooth headsets, and earphones.
What is the difference between sim free and contract mobile phones?
With a contract deal, you'll get the device and your minutes, texts, and data rolled into one monthly payment. These sometimes also come with an additional upfront fee depending on the deal you choose. You are also usually tied into the contract for a set amount of time. Contracts start with 12 months but sometimes go up to 36 months. With sim free, you buy the device outright, and supply your own sim, so you are not tied into a contract. Although this works out cheaper in the long run, the upfront cost is much larger.
