15% off Mother’s Day Luxury Biscuit Tin

When Savoo were told that we were getting a discount code for 15% off the Mother’s Day range at Biscuiteers, we just had to sample the goods for ourselves.

I was assigned the task of reviewing the Mother’s Day Tea for Two Biscuit Tin, much to my delight (I am now in a biscuit coma, despite half the office stealing my samples!). Here are my findings.

So what do you get?

Inside your Mother’s Day Tea of Two Tin you’ll find 12 or more hand-iced vanilla biscuits in the shape of vintage inspired teapots and teacups. It’s a pretty attractive package I think you’ll agree.

Taste

Let’s talk about the taste (my favourite part of any review!). While these biscuits are simple vanilla, they are definitely not bland. Crunchy, buttery and with the perfect amount of icing, you can tell that these are luxury biscuits and not just out of a packet.

Maybe this is thanks to the ingredients- the biscuits are traditionally baked with eggs, British butter and flour and golden syrup. They are mixed, chilled and hand cut, then cooked until golden and decorated by  hand (plus they’re totally suitable for vegetarians).

Packaging

But despite the delicious tasting biscuits, the thing I loved most about the Mother’s Day Tin was the actual opening process; it’s definitely not an ordinary tin of biscuits!

First of all, let’s look at the tin itself. Covered in a gorgeous pattern on all sides, it could be made a permanent fixture in the kitchen once your mum has finished the first round.

On opening the tin you are presented with girly pink tissue paper carefully sealed by a Biscuiteers sticker, giving it a luxury gift feel.

Once you’ve opened the pink tissue paper the fun really begins. There are four layers to get through, each with colour coordinating individually decorated biscuits. I photographed the process so you can see what’s inside.

What mum wouldn’t love opening layer upon layer of cute biscuits?

Price

At £39.50, a Mother’s Day Tea for Two Biscuit Tin is around the same cost as a nice bouquet of flowers. I can vouch for the fact that this is more than just an ordinary tin of biscuits; you are paying for the experience of opening four carefully packed layers, the exquisite packaging and the tasty biscuits themselves.

Plus, right now we have a code for 15% off the Mother’s Day collection at Biscuiteers, so you can get yours at just £33.58. Click here to get the code!
