I once received a tin of peaches wrapped in newspaper from my in-laws neighbour several years ago! The old fella was in his 90’s couldn’t speak a word of English only Welsh, drove a really old 3 wheel Robin Reliant and was still fascinated by tinned food so I graciously accepted his kind gift – but it was weird!

The weirdest present was from my mother in law. I commented how nice her fruit display was not realising they were plastic. That Christmas she gave me my own selection of plastic fruit. I actually sold them on eBay for quite a lot of money.

A necklace made of cat bones. Literally four femurs strung on a chain. I like cats and I like halloween (have a top with a skeleton print & stuff) but literally wearing the bones of pets around my neck?! Nope. Too far. Was quite freaked out.
