If you haven’t already heard of Made.com (or seen one of their Tube posters if you live in London) you probably soon will. Promising original furniture design at affordable prices, Made.com is part of a new breed of retailers offering products directly from the makers.
At Savoo we decided to put Made.com to the test, with the unexpected help of our office dog Spud…
When we were asked by Made.com to do a review of one of their products, we had a hard time choosing what to pick. But as soon as we saw the Bouji Ottoman, everyone was sold; not only is the Ottoman in the Savoo colours (“Tudor Red and Black”), it is also the perfect size for the office: just over a metre in width and 23cm high. Turns out this is just the right height for a kingly French bulldog too… more on this later.
Retailing at £159- but typically costing £350 on the high street- our new Ottoman is light enough to be moved from room to room, despite its solid wood frame. You would have no trouble shifting it from living room to bedroom on a whim if you fancied brightening up a different part of your house- and its oval shape makes it pretty versatile (posh magazine table anyone?).
Dubbed by Head of PR Ed as ‘very Fifty Shades of Grey’, we absolutely love the boudoir feel of the Bouji- particularly since it is supremely comfortable to lounge around on. And we aren’t the only ones who likes the quirky deign- resident French bulldog Spud has now claimed the Ottoman as his own personal throne. When he looks this good on it, how could we possibly refuse?
Nb. Check out Spud’s weekly post on our Facebook page for an update on how he is enjoying the Ottoman.
