Until the end of August 2016, you can bring any of your unwanted shoes to any Evans store and receive £30 worth of rewards to spend on your new season wardrobe.
About the initiative
Evan’s clothing store has teamed up with United Shoe and Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity to create this new Recycle with Evans initiative.
The aim is to collect at least 2,000 pairs of shoes which will then be recycled, and the money raised will be used to help provide economic opportunities in developing countries and raise money for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity who support families with a terminally ill child.
How it works
You bring any old or unwanted pairs of shoes to any Evans store or Evans Tesco store before the 27th August and you’ll receive £30 worth of discounts to spend in store or online. It’s that simple.
All of the donated shoes will then be sent to United Shoe who will sort through all donated footwear and decide which shoes can be re-used and which will be recycled. Shoes that can be re-used will be sent to Ghana, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Togo, Benin, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Chile.
Did you know…
Of all of the millions of pairs of shoes that are destroyed every day, 70% could be re-worn and 100% could be recycled?!
Get involved and Recycle with Evans!
If you’ve got any old pairs of shoes lying around get on down to Evans and feel good about donating to a good cause PLUS earning yourself discounts on a new wardrobe.
However, if you’re super disciplined and only have shoes you use (I don’t know anybody like this!) you can still support Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity when you next shop online and use any discount codes at Savoo. Whether you want money off at Evans, Halfords, New Look or Dominos Pizza, you could be raising money for charity for doing absolutely nothing. Find out more and start donating today.
