The Share Foundation – Inspiring Young People in Care

Savoo has recently partnered with The Share Foundation – a unique charity dedicated to inspiring young people in care; and we’d like to shine the spotlight on the amazing work it does.

Unfortunately, some children and young people are unable to stay with their birth parents, and when this is the case they are often taken into care. Although the limited funds available in care facilities are utilised in the best ways possible, it seems that some of these young people don’t truly get the chance to fulfil their potential and achieve their hopes and dreams.

The Share Foundation exists to change this; and it does so primarily through its Junior ISA scheme for children and young people in care on behalf of the Department for Education.

This scheme aims to inspire young people in care by giving them access to a savings plan and equipping them with the life skills they need to help them exceed in whatever they choose to do. You can find out more about the Junior ISA scheme here.

The Share Foundation is the only charity that administers the Government Junior ISA scheme for children and young people in care. It is also the only charity running an incentivised learning programme alongside this scheme.

Not many young people or even foster parents know about The Share Foundation or their Junior ISA scheme, let alone the incentivised learning programme – the Stepladder of Achievement, which exists to provide both life skills and financial resources to children and teenagers in care.

We want to change that.

We are working to raise awareness and funds for The Share Foundation through our Passive Giving model.

All you need to do is choose to support The Share Foundation at Savoo when you visit our charity directory, and then search and shop online at Savoo to raise money for this worthwhile cause. Find out more about how you can raise money for charity with Savoo here

And please help us spread the word about the fantastic work The Share Foundation does on Facebook and Twitter, and let people know that they can support for free at

We need your help to ensure that more children and young people in care can receive the exceptional support offered by this fantastic charity.
