Stansted Valet Parking Review

Last week our family of three caught an 8.30am flight to Bratislava from Stansted Airport. With a seven month baby in tow (introducing little Lucy!) and a drive from South London in the early hours, we needed quick and easy entry to the airport.

Valet Parking with FastTrack was the perfect option: this allowed us to park right outside the terminal and get through security at record speed! Here’s my Stansted Valet Parking review- and our thoughts about the FastTrack service too.

Convenient Parking Location

We pulled up at 6.30am, and the valet parking was based just one minute from the terminal- right outside the front of the building! There were plenty of parking bays to choose from, and because they were so close to the airport we didn’t have to worry about bringing a pushchair for Lucy- we just took her out in her car seat.

Friendly Greeting

After being greeted by two friendly staff, they took photos of our car and noted down the mileage. They even helped us unload our luggage!

Simple Handover

We signed away our car and keys to the staff and they offered to wait around for a few minutes in case we forgot something. They also told us what to do on our return, which was really helpful.

At this point we were given tickets for the fast track entry into the airport- which was limited to six people.

FastTrack Review

As you can see the terminal was ridiculously close- literally a one minute walk from our parking bay- so all we had to do was make our way to FastTrack.

FastTrack is a dedicated channel to enable you to fly through security and reach the departure lounge more quickly. We scanned our tickets and off we went- four minutes later we were basking in the busy terminal, and because we had time we were able to order breakfast at one of the restaurants (full English for me!).

Collecting the Car

Our return from Bratislava was super easy too. Once again, Valet Parking was a short distance from the terminal; all we had to do was show the paperwork, collect our keys, and walk one minute to where our car was parked. Not only was the car clean and well kept, but there was no ticket for exit required so we could just drive away.

Our Verdict: 9/10

I’ll give our experience with Stansted Valet Parking and FastTrack 9/10.

Travelling with a baby isn’t easy, but the Valet Parking and quick security checks made a massive difference- I will absolutely be choosing it again. My only criticism is that I think they need FastTrack at customs too: I hate the queue!
