We are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected by bowel cancer. We support and enable research, campaign for the best treatment and care for all patients and provide expert information and education for the public and healthcare professionals.

Did you know...

Bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK. Over 41,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year in the UK. More than nine out of ten new cases (94%) are diagnosed in people over the age of 50, but bowel cancer can affect any age. More than 2,400 new cases are diagnosed each year in people under the age of 50. Sadly, almost 16,000 people each year die from bowel cancer but it is treatable and curable especially if caught early.

What makes Bowel Cancer UK different

We are the only dedicated bowel cancer research charity in the UK and are working with our partners across the globe to stop bowel cancer for good. Our Never Too Young campaign is leading change for younger bowel cancer patients. The campaign is giving the 2,400 younger patients diagnosed each year a voice and changing clinical practice and policy to stop bowel cancer in people under 50
