Emmanuel House was founded in 1976 and supports almost 1500 people per year. Our Support Centre provides an open access service to Homeless and vulnerable people all year round. We offer support and services to empower individuals to make positive changes and transform their lives. We also offer outreach support and run the Nottingham Winter Night Shelter from November through to April.

Did you know...

We see around 70 people each day who come to Emmanuel House to access support and essential basic services such as showers, clean, dry clothing, hot food and drinks and the opportunity to rest somewhere safe and be socially included. We receive no Statutory funding and are reliant on goodwill donations to continue our services.

What makes Emmanuel House Support Centre different

We are an independent charity and the only drop in centre in Nottingham City. We do not have any specific criteria for people to access our support and anyone over 18 is warmly welcomed.

Other ways to support

We accept donations of clothing, sleeping-bags and longlife foods to subsidise the meals and enable us to provide free drinks all year around. We also need individual volunteers to support in all areas of the service.
