Glasgow City Mission

We want to see our city and its people flourish, where people are accepted and can experience real change in their lives.

Did you know...

Glasgow City Mission provides practical Christian care to people affected by homelessness, poverty, addictions, mental health issues, loneliness, plus preventative work with children and families in disadvantaged communities in Glasgow.

Glasgow City Mission is the oldest city mission in the world – we were established in 1826.

We currently operate a City Centre project, Child & Family Centre, Glasgow Winter Night Shelter, and a variety of partnership projects across the city to provide practical care for disadvantaged people.

What makes Glasgow City Mission different

We are a Christian charity who is passionate about the people who look to us for help. We want to treat every person as unique and valuable, addressing why they are in their situation and how we can help them move forward. We want to share a message of hope and aim to have compassion for these individuals.
