Octavia Foundation supports people in central and west London affected by ill health, social isolation, low income or unemployment. We help over 2,000 people each year, with your help we can for more.

Did you know...

  • 4,000 hours of companionship have been given to vulnerable and isolated people in the last year.

  • 12 documentaries made by young people through our digital media projects. This includes our film The Beat’s Beneath – which explores the history of the Notting Hill Carnival and the key figures who helped shape it and are laid to rest in Kensal Green Cemetery - which has been shown at five film festivals.

  • More than 150 local people have been helped to gain access to employment in 2016/17.

What makes Octavia Foundation different

Octavia Foundation is different because we support a wide range of people. Our projects offer individuals of all ages the opportunity to develop skills and interact with others; these projects include our befriending project for isolated people, our youth centres in Pimlico and Notting Hill - which focus on creative skills such as photography and film production - and our employment and training project which enable individuals to seek advice and volunteer. Our projects are tailored for our service users.

Other ways to support

  • Volunteering for one of our projects. Become a befriender, get admin experience at our head office, become a volunteer youth worker, volunteer in our shops for retail experience.

  • Fundraise for us through our A-Z list on our website.

  • Nominate us as Charity of the year at your work place, school or in your local shops (Sainsbury’s etc.)
