Did you know...
We provide accommodation for up to 12 people in our Inpatient Unit, each with access to a peaceful garden area, with a high nurse/patient ratio allowing us the opportunity to give dedicated support to patients with a variety of symptoms associated with life-limiting illness. Our Hospice At Home team look after patients and their carers who prefer to receive help at home, and our Starlight Centre offers a range of services aimed at helping people live well and cope with their conditions. We also offer Bereavement Support to those who need us following the passing of a loved one.
What makes Peace Hospice Care different
We are the charity with the most significant presence in South West Herts, with a long heritage of providing free, top-quality care for those who need us most. Our main Hospice building was originally the Peace Memorial Hospital, built in 1925 to commemorate those lost in the First World War, and over 90 years later those working within its walls still serve as a vital linchpin for the local community.
