We’re Wales’ leading cancer charity and were founded by ten local businessmen in 1943. We fund over £1 million of cancer research every year and it was our scientists, back in the 1970s that helped develop the use of Tamoxifen. It’s now the world’s most widely used breast cancer drug, which has saved the lives of millions of women.

What makes Tenovus Cancer Care different

We support cancer patients and their families, out in the community. We support people at every stage of their cancer journey. Through diagnosis, treatment and recovery, or dealing with a terminal diagnosis or bereavement.

Other ways to support

Our charity shops across Wales and England always need donations and volunteers. We also have a great calendar of events people can take part in – whether you want to run, cycle, swim or hold a coffee morning.
