The Christie charity exists to raise funds for the benefit of Christie patients, so that they can be offered access to leading treatments, outstanding care and the opportunity of the best outcomes.
The charity delivers projects, equipment and improvements over and above what the NHS can fund, providing patients with the best possible care, research and treatment.
The Christie is one of Europe's leading cancer centres, treating over 44,000 patients a year and serving a population of 3.2 million people across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, with 26% of patients coming from across the UK.
We raise money for a range of vital projects and initiatives focusing on four main areas: research, care and treatment, education and extra patient services.
We have many events that supporters can take part in or volunteer at. We hold an annual Charity Ball here in Manchester, we have our very own Cuppa for The Christie which supporters can take part in at home or work whenever best suits them and we have places at all the main sporting events. There is something for everyone.
