Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) is the leading global charity dedicated to the conservation and protection of whales and dolphins. They defend these remarkable creatures against the many threats they face - through campaigns, lobbying, advising governments, conservation projects, field research and rescue.

Their mission? To share the wonder of whales and dolphins with people all across the world, and inspire global action to protect them. And their vision - a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free.

With offices in the UK, US, Australia, Germany and South America, WDC are currently working on a range of campaign areas including:

• Ending hunting and commercial whaling

• Ending the keeping of whales and dolphins in captivity

• Tackling the issue of bycatch - when whales and dolphins are accidentally caught in fishing gear

• Creating safe, clean and healthy ocean homes for whales and dolphins, free from plastic and other pollution.
