We are a Cornish charity supporting bereaved children, young people, parents and carers throughout the county. We offer children and young people the chance to meet others and share their experiences, as well as practical resources for children and parents. We can also deliver an extensive programme of training and advice for other childcare professionals and those interested in becoming a volunteer.

Did you know...

Over the years the organisation has grown and there are now 4 full time and 3 part time staff members and a dedicated team of around 80 volunteers. We have increased our partnership working and relationships with other agencies, thus broadening the opportunities for Cornish children to receive optimum support.

What makes Penhaligon's Friends different

As a small Cornish Childhood Bereavement Charity we feel our service is accessible, friendly and focused on meeting the individual needs of the bereaved child and family, providing individual and tailored support rather than structured intervention.

Other ways to support

We rely purely on donations to keeps us going. Being a small charity means that every penny we get is ploughed straight into helping people who are struggling with bereavement. Whatever you can give will help someone, somewhere.

If you have an idea for a fundraising event please get in touch with us.

We welcome any donations, from the smallest coffee morning to the bigger events such as concerts or large sponsored challenges. Nothing is too small!

If you would like to come on board and volunteer your time and help support bereaved young people in Cornwall then please do get in touch.
