Would you negotiate a price in a charity shop? Is it uncharitable to do
so? These are a few questions I've been asked on Twitter in the last
week or so and honestly coming up with an answer is a tough one and it
involves quite the ramble.Obviously charity shops aren't just there as a
source of cheap clothing and furniture but to help support and raise
money for a charity. Sure the low prices are attractive to the customers
but I like to hope part of the reason many people shop in charity shops
is to give something back...

Money Saving Tips
I haven't had the best luck in charity shops lately and I almost gave up visiting them altogether, however a few weekends ago I was lured into a nearby shop and found great treats hidden within. My faith in charity shops has been somewhat restored, maybe I should try again this weekend. I should, shouldn't I?
I found a mixture of clothes and homeware, Mr Thrifty would say I need neither but we'll just tell him to hush his gums (down with da yoof or what?) and turn a blind eye to his ever growing record collection. Fair deal huh...

In just a couple of short weeks, parents across the UK will let out a
collective sigh of relief as our children make their way back to school
and the routine that comes with it, not just for the kids but for the
parents who have had their routines turned upside-down over the last 6
weeks.
However, before then, there is a lot of shopping to be done and I have
absolutely no intention of manoeuvring my way around the stores with thousands of other Back To School parents. Instead, my friends and their friends and, well just about everyone who's heard about it, are having a recession-busting, penny-pinching, fortune-saving swap shop!

Everyone likes to save money, that's one of the reasons so many people shop at
Savoo but what if you could shop
online and a percentage of what you spend goes to a non profit organisation with no additional cost to you? That's exactly what you get with some of these great offers where not only will you save big but you'll be directly helping people less fortunate by supporting some amazing charities.
