• Do they already own something similar?
• Would they buy it for themselves?
• Is it nice or just expensive?
• Does it come with gift wrapping and can you get it delivered directly to them?
• Is it more of an inconvenience than a gift? Is it practical?
• Do they have any allergies or intolerances?
• Will it bring long-term satisfaction to the receiver?

“My advice is to look at both the brand’s own website, and third party sellers, and compare prices. Sometimes tech sellers like Very or KRCS will have great prices in a sale that they are running, that no other retailer is. Look out for Price Match Promises when employing this strategy! I'm able to get much better quality gifts on a small budget that way!"

Matt’s go-to tip when gifting for picky shoppers is to go for one voucher that allows the receiver to select their own present. “This might sound really obvious coming from a voucher code site, but always look for a code. I hear a lot of people saying it’s so often that a code doesn’t work: my solution for that is to be sure you’re checking reputable discount sites only. As the market for discounts has progressed there are more and more affiliate sites that are unreliable, so identify a favourite like Savoo and stick to it!"
