What is Caring Christmas?

Savoo’s Caring Christmas is our yearly charity campaign, during which Savoo donates 5 percent of revenue (terms & conditions apply) on all purchases to charity. That means, no matter what you are buying, who it’s for, or which brand it is from, we’ll donate to the Charity of the Week on your behalf at no extra cost. With most households on a tighter budget than usual this winter, charities across the U.K. are feeling this impact. Our campaign is a great way to donate to charity this Christmas, letting you tick all the names off your gifting list and make a Christmas charity donation at the same time, and still end up saving money when ticking off items from your loved ones' wish lists.

Marie Curie nurses work every day of the year and this doesn’t change at Christmas. Demand for palliative care nurses is always high but even more so for someone’s final Christmas.

Our work gives the child a voice... that involves knowing what the needs are of the child and their community. At Save The Children we’re heavily involved with this hands-on work, and donations help us to achieve this.

During the festive season, we see increased requests for wishes as families look to make the holidays extra special for their children facing critical illnesses.

The holidays can be an especially tough time for many stroke survivors, particularly during their first Christmas, as simple joys... may become profoundly different experiences.

A few more ways you can donate to charity this Christmas 2025…

Get a box of charity Christmas cards

If you send Christmas cards to friends, family and neighbours every year, why not send charity cards instead of commercial shop-bought ones? Cards for good causes are available at most charity shops around the festive season, as well as online. Keep an eye out for other items that can be bought at charity shops like charity Christmas crackers and napkins.

Use these links to shop for your 2025 Christmas cards:

Launch a fundraiser

While the festive spirit is high during all the celebrations at the end of the year, what better than to get your friends, family and colleagues involved in a fundraising event? A great way to make a charity Christmas donation that goes the extra mile: you’ll get everyone donating, raise even more, and have a great time in the process! Have a look at the website of a charity close to your heart and you’ll find they often have free fundraising packs and guides to help you get started.

Donate toys and gifts to a food bank or similar

Around the festive season, look out for opportunities to give charity gifts in the form of toy donations. Whether that’s checking out the “Giving Tree" in your local supermarket or contacting a food bank or toy bank near you, this is a great way to ensure a local child has the Christmas they deserve. Check out our charity partner The Trussell Trust (who you can also support through Savoo), or see if your local town halls runs a toy donation collection in your area.
