KIDS is a national charity, founded in 1970, that provides a wide range of services to disabled children, young people and their families in England. They aim to empower disabled children and young people to develop their skills and achieve their aspirations. They create opportunities for them to take part in play, learning, leisure, skills training and social activities. Their success is based upon building a close partnership with parents, carers and siblings and helping them find solutions to the obstacles they meet in daily life.

Last year, 13,700 disabled children from birth through to the age of 25 benefitted from Kids work. Their services include: drop-in crèches and nurseries for the under 5s to youth clubs, short breaks and residential stays for young adults.

What makes KIDS different

KIDS is a pan disability charity, supporting all young disabled people no matter their condition or impairment to ensure no child is left behind.

Other ways to support

There are many ways to support KIDS including participating in one of their challenge events such as the London Marathon or becoming a corporate partner and volunteering at one of their adventure playgrounds. KIDS will also help if you wish to host a fundraising event on their behalf..
