No, returns for Springer Shop are covered at the customer's expense. UK customers have a 14-day returns window on print book purchases. There is no personal discount for faculty members. But if you are a published author or editor with Springer Shop, you are entitled to a special lifetime author discount on book purchases, whether for the print or eBook version. Instructors and lecturers may request free e-inspection copies via Springer Nature Digital Comps for teaching. Should you require institutional access for your department or university, you should contact Springer Nature at springernature.com/contact-us to find out more about library and institutional licensing options.

A SpringerToken is a promotional code provided directly to selected groups, including Springer Shop authors and academic society members. These tokens grant access to exclusive book offers or protected content, such as free journal trials. Unlike standard sitewide coupon codes, SpringerTokens are not publicly available through sites like Savoo. If you are eligible, Springer Shop will send your token directly. Please review your author or membership communications for any tokens you may have received.

Springer Shop accepts Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and PayPal. For print books shipping to Europe, Africa, Asia, or Australia and Oceania, advance payment by invoice or bank transfer is also an option. Contact customer service if you need a proforma invoice. UK customers are billed in GBP throughout.
