Loneliness and isolation is a common problem that arises amongst old age. Age UK Exeter is an independent local charity that arose in 1987, dedicated to tackling this problem by promoting the well-being of older people in Exeter. They do this by providing life-enhancing services and vital support to older people and their families in Exeter they help to change people’s lives for the better every day. Age UK Exeter exists so older people can learn to love later life.

Age UK Exeter connects with over 5,000 older people each year and directly supports over 1,200 older people every week. They are supported by more than 250 wonderful volunteers.
