Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group

The Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) was founded in 1977 and is the UK's leading children’s cancer charity, as well as Ireland’s professional association for those involved in the treatment and care of children with cancer.

Did you know...

More than 30 children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK every single week, and two out of ten will not survive.

The charity works with childhood cancer professionals to ensure that every child receives the very best treatment and care, and that their families are given expert guidance throughout their journey. The charity also funds research into childhood cancers which enables them to offer award-winning information resources to families.

Over the last 35 years, CCLG has had a big part to play in the major survival rate improvements for childhood cancer. But there are still some childhood cancers that remain particularly difficult to treat and cure, and treatments can have long-lasting side effects. Further research is vital to ensure more cancers can be cured and the side-effects of treatment reduced.
