Garden Organic is leading the organic movement and supporting thousands of horticultural enthusiasts by providing information and advice about growing organic produce.

Founded in 1958, the charity's mission is to promote organic gardening amongst individuals, communities and schools throughout the UK. They use innovative practices to inspire and encourage people to grow organically and collaborate with others.

Did you know...

In 2014, Garden Organic distributed 24,000 packets of heritage seeds to members. They also manage Food Growing Schools London, which encourages every school in London to grow food to improve pupils attainment, health and well-being, and develop closer links between schools and their local communities.

What makes Garden Organic different

The charity delivers horticultural therapy to build confidence, improve communication, facilitate learning and ultimately provide healthy food to support a wide variety of physical and mental health conditions. One of their latest projects involves working with dementia patients and their carers.

Other ways to support

You could become a member to receive the latest news, tips, advice and gardening freebies! You could also get involved in a local organic growing group or open your garden to visitors once a year to help spread the organic growing message.
