For nearly three decades, The Gorilla Organization has been working hard to secure the long-term survival of the world’s last remaining gorillas in the wild.

Currently working in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, The Gorilla Organization supports long-term economic development and conservation projects in frontline communities, recognising the critical role they play in ensuring the gorillas’ survival.

How donations can help?

  • £5 will plant a row of tree saplings and help rebuild the gorilla’s forest habitat.

  • £10 will provide books and equipment for teachers running environment clubs in schools near gorilla habitat.

  • £15 will equip a ranger to patrol the forests and remove the snares that pose a deadly risk to gorillas.

Did you know...

  • There are just over 1000 mountain gorillas left in the wild

  • There are 4 gorilla subspecies, 3 of which are critically endangered

  • Gorillas are one of our closest living relatives and share approximately 98% of our DNA
