Verified Ways to Save at MERIT

Save up to 15% with the MERIT Student Discount

Students can get up to 15% off selected MERIT sets by verifying their student status through UNiDAYS. The discount applies to curated sets like the basics and essentials ranges, not individual products. You can't combine the student discount with any other MERIT promo code.

First Orders Come with a Free MERIT Signature Bag

First-time customers automatically receive the MERIT Signature Bag with their first order. The bag reusable and washable, made to last well beyond the unboxing. MERIT doesn't currently offer a first-order discount for UK customers, so this is the primary new-customer perk.

Shop MERIT Sets for Built-In Bundle Savings

MERIT offers sets across complexion, lips, eyes, skincare, and cheeks, priced lower than buying the equivalent products separately. Savings of around 10-15% are built directly into the bundle pricing, with current sets including the Five Minute Morning, The Intro Set, and The Great Skin Duo.

About MERIT

MERIT began in 2021 when Katherine Power decided to simplify rather than complicate beauty. The company refers to itself as 'the antidote to the overwhelming world of beauty' and this concept influences all aspects of its products and packaging. The company is famous for its carefully selected range of clean, vegan, and cruelty-free essentials.

MERIT formulas were developed with the well-known Hollywood esthetician Biba de Sousa and contain more than 73 ingredients that could cause acne, while also including skin-friendly ingredients such as plant-based squalane and Vitamin B5.

MERIT FAQs

Can I use more than one MERIT discount code?

No, MERIT only permits one MERIT discount code per order. If you have access to a student discount code and a promotional code at the same time, you'll need to choose whichever gives you the better saving.

Does MERIT accept returns?

MERIT allows eligible returns within 30 days of delivery, processed entirely online - there's no telephone line for returns. Because these are cosmetic products, items that show signs of use cannot be returned, and delivery charges are not refunded on returned orders.

Is MERIT an ethical brand?

Every MERIT product is clean, vegan, and cruelty-free, formulated without over 73 potentially acne-triggering ingredients and developed alongside Hollywood esthetician Biba de Sousa. The skincare line (Great Skin Serum, Great Skin Moisturiser, and Great Skin Double Cleanse) is clinically proven as a three-step routine. On the packaging side, MERIT is committed to reducing virgin plastic; materials used for delivery are recyclable, reusable, or biodegradable.

Does MERIT have a loyalty programme?

Not at the moment. The MERIT Loyalty Programme, which lets members earn 1 point per $1 USD spent and redeem them for exclusive gifts across three membership tiers, is currently available only in the United States and Canada. UK customers can sign up to the MERIT newsletter to be notified if and when the programme expands internationally.

What payment methods does MERIT have?

MERIT UK accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay. PayPal and AfterPay are available for US and Canada orders only and cannot be used at UK checkout. Prepaid gift cards, cheques, and money orders are not accepted, and MERIT does not currently offer its own gift cards or product subscriptions.

How do I contact MERIT?

The MERIT team can be reached by email at hi@meritbeauty.com, with responses typically within 24-48 business hours Monday to Friday. There is no customer service telephone number. Orders and returns can also be managed through the account portal at meritbeauty.com.

Enjoy MERIT Sale Reductions of up to 30%

There isn’t a MERIT sale section, but the company offers beauty discounts across the website. Save as much as 30% on makeup, fragrances, and skincare, with promotions changing all the time. MERIT has also run Black Friday sales in previous years that often feature some of the year’s biggest discounts.

Sign up to the MERIT Newsletter to Get Deals Sent to You

Signing up for the MERIT newsletter doesn't guarantee a discount, but it does give you early access to new product launches, promotional events, and sale notifications. If and when MERIT expands its Loyalty Programme internationally, newsletter subscribers are likely to be the first to know.

How to Use a MERIT Discount Code

  1. Visit meritbeauty.com and put the products you have chosen into your Bag.
  2. Once you are ready to proceed with the checkout, go to your Bag located in the top right hand corner of the site.
  3. Go to checkout and find the field marked 'Discount code or gift card' on the checkout summary page.
  4. Type or paste your MERIT discount code exactly into the field, making certain to check for any typos, extra spaces, and that the capitalisation is correct.
  5. Press 'Apply' and make sure that the new total for your order appears before proceeding.
  6. Enter your payment information and finish placing your order, having the savings applied.

MERIT discount code box in the shopping bag
