ᐅ Where can I get a Sainsbury's discount code or offers?

  1. Sign up to the Sainsbury's Nectar Card membership before placing your first order. You'll collect points with each £1 spent, that can then be turned into Sainsbury's vouchers
  2. Purchase a Sainsbury's Delivery Pass if you do your food shop online. This could save you up to £168 per year - and if you don't save, you'll be refunded the difference!
  3. Choose Click & Collect: this is a convenient and free way to receive your food shop. Simply spend over £25 and pick up your order any day between Sunday and Wednesday.
  4. Keep an eye out for the ALDI price match items at Sainsbury's. Expect Sainsbury's quality at low ALDI prices on over 150 grocery items to keep that basket total low.

Yes! To qualify for free delivery, spend over £100 on your purchase and book a slot between Monday and Thursday for delivery after 2pm.

If you are a regular Sainsbury's customer, sign up to Delivery Pass. Delivery Pass allows you to prepay the delivery fee for 3, 6 or 12 months in advance - saving you up to £168 a year. If you don't save money by getting the Delivery Pass Sainsbury's will send you a voucher under the Delivery Pass Guarantee.

ᐅ How many Nectar Points can I earn at Sainsbury's?

For every £1 you spend on your Sainsbury's grocery shop will earn you 1 Nectar point . You can use Nectar points to redeem an voucher giving you money of online and in-store. Look out for offers giving you bonus points on certain products, as well as Nectar exclusive discounts.

ᐅ What payment options does Sainsbury's accept?

You can pay for your shopping using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express credit and debit cards. You can also use Nectar points, your Argos card and Sainsbury's gift cards. The supermarket does not currently accept PayPal or Klarna payments.

ᐅ Does Sainsbury's do free Click & Collect?

Yes, in fact Sainsbury's new Click & Collect offer allows you to order and collect the next day! It used to be valid on shops with a minimum spend of £40, but the service is now completely free of charge.

Yes! Since September 2021, Sainsbury's has brought back their Same Day Collection and Delivery option, giving shoppers even more flexibility.

"If you don't mind sharing, my recommendation is to open joint points accounts at your local supermarket branch. My housemate and I share a Nectar account: she uses the app and I use the physical card when we do food shops for the house. Sharing an account for the household means we collect double the number of points and vouchers than if we had two separate accounts!


Most recently we received £15 worth of Sainsbury's vouchers that meant we got almost our entire weekly food shop for free! And of course, having the Nectar Card means our food shop is often slightly less as we never miss a Sainsbury's offer like Nectar price crisps, dips, ice cream and more."
