Get the Festival Look for Less

Summer is officially here, which means festival season is in full swing and A-listers are serving enough outfit inspo to fill your camera roll! From Coachella to Glastonbury, celebs have stepped out in everything from denim-on-denim to gorgeous glitter, feathers, fringe and so much more, but rest assured that you don’t need a big budget to get the celebrity festival look.

In this blog, I'll be breaking down seven of the hottest celebrity festival outfits from 2024–2025 and showing you exactly how to recreate these looks with affordable high street dupes. I've done the research, so you don't have to! Whether you're dressing for Glastonbury this June, or Boardmasters and Reading Festival in August, or perhaps you have a last-minute day fest on the agenda – you’ll find savvy swaps and plenty of money-saving tips and tricks to help you nail the festival look for less.

What should I wear to a festival?

According to a 2023 survey by Fashion Network, UK consumers are transitioning to become more 'festival-focused', with 20% of participants agreeing that festival season is actually more important than summer holidays! So, let's talk festival fashion for 2025:

What you wear to a festival depends on a few factors, including your own personal style, comfort, practicality and weather conditions. Let's face it, we all know the UK weather is going to be a BIG factor in deciding your festival outfit! For this reason, your best best it to opt for lightweight layers that you can easily throw on when it gets chilly or starts to rain. Think:

  • denim shorts
  • crop tops
  • oversized shirts
  • maxi skirts and dresses
  • light jackets

Other items like flowy trousers, co-ord sets and just breathable fabrics in general such as cotton or linen are also great options for staying cool while still looking hot to trot! What’s great about this approach is you can build a mini capsule wardrobe that mixes and matches across the weekend, giving you multiple looks without overpacking.

Here's what some of us on the Savoo Team have previously worn to festivals, for your ultimate style inspo:

Festival Fashion Compilation

Build Your Festival Capsule Wardrobe

Multi-pack crop tops from PrettyLittleThing: The perfect base for your outfit, ideal for mixing and matching to switch up your look each day whilst not overpacking.

Lightweight jacket from New Look: A combination between a shirt and jacket, this is great for keeping warm (and dry if you choose a waterproof option!) but still breathable enough to wear in the day.

Basic tees from Hollister: The perfect festival wardrobe staple, ideal for pairing with trousers, shorts or even underneath strappy dresses.

Wide-leg trousers from H&M: An easy base for multiple outfits that work both day and night, whilst keeping you cool in the sun.

Printed co-ord from Boohoo: A statement piece that will turn heads at a festival, and that you can just throw on and go!

Mix and match these essentials and you’ll have a perfect festival capsule wardrobe that takes you from campsite to headline set without breaking the bank.

What shoes should I wear to a music festival?

When it comes to festival footwear, my biggest tip is that comfort is key! Just think, you’ll be on your feet all day walking between stages, dancing, and most likely trekking through mud... so be sure choose shoes that can handle it all. Chunky boots are a definite festival go-to, because they're durable in the rain/mud, plus they tend to go with everything....mini dresses, maxi dresses, short skirts, flowy skirts, denim shorts...you name it! You can't go wrong with a pair of Dr Martens, which is something you may already have lying around at home! If you're looking to pick up a fresh pair of Docs, be sure to break them in at home first so they're comfortable in time for your festival. Don't forget to check out the latest Dr Martens discount codes to save on your next pair of Docs.

Trainers are another solid option, perfect for drier weather and giving your feet the support they need. I'd recommend staying away from suede shoes, like Adidas Sambas and Gazelles, and instead opting for something that will be easier to clean the mud from, like Nike Air Force Ones or Adidas Ultra Boosts, both of which come in men's and women's sizes and styles. Pick up a fresh pair of festival kicks using a Nike or Adidas discount code to save money on your order.

If you’re going for something a bit more on-trend, cowboy boots are a solid shout! Cowboy boots definitely had their big moment in 2024, but the trend is still going strong this summer, and have been worn at festivals and even red carpet events within the last one year by Megan Thee Stallion, Taylor Swift and Ayesha Curry, to name a few! If you're looking to pick up a pair, ASOS have a great overall selection of cowboy boots, whilst Zara has a range of leather cowboy boots available, and Pretty Little Thing offers fringed cowboy boots for that proper country feel!

Brown Cowboy Boots Comparison

Ruby Lizon Walker

"I actually picked up the above pair of tan cowboy boots from ASOS earlier this year – mine were £54 and honestly such good value for money. They’re comfy, sturdy, and I won't be taking them off all summer!"

What fashion aesthetics are trending this summer?

  • Cowgirl Era If you've been on Tiktok in the last few months, then you may have heard the phrase: "I'm in my cowgirl era." This country-inspired style was the height of fashion last summer, with cowboy boots definitely leading the charge! But don't worry, the trend doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Fringe jackets, suede mini skirts and studded cowboy boots have been festival staples for years, worn by the likes of Bella Hadid, Alexa Chung and Sienna Miller. It's definitely worth investing in a few key pieces, like cowboy boots, a studded belt or a fringe jacket that you can re-wear year after year, whilst tapping into this long-standing festival fashion trend.
  • Coastal Granddaughter: If you haven't heard of coastal granddaughter then don't worry! It's a fairly new aesthetic that's come to light thanks to TikTok, and this soft whimsical look is super easy to recreate on a budget with simple wardrobe basics you probably already own, like linen trousers, oversized shirts and cotton dresses.
  • Utility Style: A functional, streetwear-inspired look featuring cargo trousers, zip-up jackets and muted tones like khaki and stone. Utility style is the ultimate festival fashion trend if ever there was one, it's easy to thrift a few key pieces or shop on the high street without spending a fortune.

7 Celebrity Festival Fits

With countless celebrity festival outfits to choose from, narrowing it down wasn’t easy, but I’ve rounded up seven standout looks that perfectly capture the spirit of summer 2025! Whether you're into laid-back boho, Y2K glam, or full-on utility chic, there’s sure to be a style here for everyone. I’ve sourced affordable high street dupes for each celebrities' festival look, so you can easily recreate these festival fits for a fraction of the price.

Kendall Jenner at Coachella

The Look:

'Buttermilk yellow' has been dubbed the colour of the season by many fashion retailers, both luxury and high street! The pastel colour has definitely been having its (well-deserved) moment since early Spring. It's officially got Kendall Jenner's stamp of approval as she stepped out at Coachella in April 2025 wearing a £530 butter yellow cotton midi dress by Proenza Schouler, funnily enough named the ‘Kendall’! The look was effortlessly elevated with classic black sunglasses and The Row’s Dune rubber flatforms, which are around $700!

The Dupes:

You’ll be glad to know that high-street retailers have made this trend super easy to shop! ASOS even has a whole page dedicated to the shade, filled with similar maxi dresses, for under £40 to channel your inner Kendall Jenner! You'll also find cotton poplin mini dresses and cute co-ords, serving up the perfect pastels for spring and summer festival fashion. Pretty Little Thing and Boohoo also have trend sections for 'Butter Yellow', with options such as crochet tops, milkmaid dresses and oversized shirts, so you'll never be short of trending festival fashion ideas. You may have a pair of black sunglasses lying around already at home, but if you don't – Mango is your best bet! I've picked up a few pairs of Mango sunglasses over the years for under £20, and they always have lots of options and styles to choose from. Be sure to use a Mango discount code to save money on your next order. Whilst Kendall Jenner was sporting chunky flip flops in sunny California, we know that UK festivals are no Coachella weather-wise, so flip flops may not be your best bet when it comes to footwear! In any case, Marks and Spencers have some stylish options of chunky flip flops for around the £30 mark, that you could use to complete the look without breaking the bank. In any case, it's totally possible to recreate Kendall's designer Coachella look for under £100.

Sienna Miller at Glastonbury

The Look:

Sienna Miller kept her look low-key but effortlessly cool at Glastonbury Festival in 2024, proving that you don’t always need a showstopper style to make an impact! She modeled an oversized Barbour Check Charlene Showerproof jacket for under £200, relaxed white joggers, Barbour Wilton Wellington Boots which retail for about £60, and sunnies for a retro and minimalistic look. It looks like Miller's look may have been a combination of both luxe fashion and high-street, so whilst there's no definite figure on how much her outfit cost in total, there's still ways you can recreate it on a budget.

The Dupes:

If you’re into Sienna’s relaxed festival look, it’s definitely easy to recreate without splashing out. Try a checked waterproof jacket from M&S or Regatta for as low as £20. Then pick up a pair of off-white joggers or cargo trousers from Uniqlo for under £25. For the boots, check out Mountain Warehouse for black ankle wellies that do the job without the designer price tag. There are lots of options to choose from, starting from as little as just £19.99, so you can easily recreate this look, without spending a fortune! Add a pair of £10 oversized sunnies from River Island and you've successfully recreated Sienna Miller's Glastonbury look for approximately £70, which will work come rain or shine.

Daisy Edgar Jones at Glastonbury

The Look:

Daisy Edgar-Jones kept things simple yet stylish at Glastonbury last June. She wore a ribbed mini dress with classic Hunter wellies which retail for around £160, and a small shoulder bag, proving you don’t always need glitz and glam to stand out! The look seemed comfy, effortless and totally suited for stomping around in the fields while still looking put-together!

The Dupes:

This minimalistic outfit is easy to recreate without blowing your budget. Firstly, look for a ribbed or knitted mini dress in a neutral colour. You'll find a great selection on Shein, for under £10, and you can even buy multi-packs of dresses to mix and match your look over the weekend! Swap the pricey Hunters for a pair of Rubber Wellies from Decathlon for as little as £12.99 and finish off the outfit with a small £30 shoulder bag from TKMaxx, just big enough for your basics and you've created Daisy's festival look for under £50.

Leo Woodall at Glastonbury

The Look:

Just like Daisy-Edgar Jones, Leo Woodall also kept it super low-key at Glasto last year with a clean white tee, loose black shorts and a solid pair of Hunter wellies. Simple, practical and exactly what you need for a weekend in the fields!

The Dupes:

The great news is, this men's festival look is really easy (and affordable) to recreate. You probably already have a plain white tee as part of your wardrobe staples, but if not then a crisp white tee from Uniqlo or Next will set you back less than £15, and you can pick up a pair of relaxed black shorts at New Look or M&S for around £20. If you want the wellies look without the Hunter price tag, check out Mountain Warehouse – they’ve got loads of sturdy waterproof boots for as low as £20, that’ll keep your feet dry without draining your bank account. All in all, you can recreate Leo's look for around the £55-60 mark.

Burna Boy at Glastonbury

The Look:

Burna Boy is another example of a celebrity delivering serious style at Glastonbury 2024, stepping out in custom Louis Vuitton. He wore a rich brown leather jacket and wide-leg denim jeans, both finished with stud detailing, layered over a denim shirt with standout turquoise buttons. There's no saying how much his custom Louis-Vitton look actually cost, but there's no denying his whole outfit was bold and full of personality, making it a festival look that really made a statement!

The Dupes:

So, how can you channel this look without the extortionate Louis Vitton price tag? First, start with a brown leather jacket from Pull&Bear, which has options for under £50. You can also shop a broad range of leather jackets from ASOS. coming in at a similar price range. For the shirt, check out Superdry or Hollister for their denim range. You can pick up a shirt from Hollister for under £20. If you want to elevate the look further, you can pick up a studded belt from ASOS which range from around £15-20, to channel that Western look. Last but certainly not least, the show-stopper studded denim jeans! The most similar pair to Burna Boy's I could find are from Jaded London, coming in at £90! Alternatively, Shein and BoohooMan both have some more affordable options of lightly-studded denim jeans, for around £20. Overall, you could probably recreate the iconic cowboy look for under £100! However, what you could do to elevate the look...is bedazzle the jeans yourself!

What's the cheapest way to bedazzle jeans?

'Bedazzling' or adding gems and rhinestones to your outfit may be time-consuming, but it can certainly be cost-effective! The easiest way is by purchasing a Hotfix Rhinestone Applicator online. You can buy a singular one from Amazon or Shein for just a few quid. Alternatively, you can buy a complete set which comes with the applicator, tweezers, and thousands of colourful rhinestones, for under £15! If it's just the rhinestones you're looking for, you can pick up a pack from Hobbycraft for a few pounds. If you're stocking up on crafty supplies, be sure to use a Hobbycraft discount code to save money on your order.

Charlie Damelio

The Look:

Charlie D'Amelio was spotted at Revolve Festival 2025 wearing a dreamy off-the-shoulder mini dress by Mirror Palais. The dress stood out with its velvet trim along the neckline and cute silk ribbon accents on the sleeves. I've looked at very similar off-the-shoulder dresseson the Mirror Palais website, and they retail anywhere between £600-900! The dress was paired alongside a pair of chunky Dr. Martens boots, and some simple silver jewellery.

The Dupes:

If you love Charli’s look but don’t fancy the price tag, there are loads of affordable ways to recreate this gorgeous outfit. Try Urban Oufitters or Stradivarius for off-the-shoulder mini dresses with little details like ruching, velvet trims or tie sleeves. Both brands have great options that look premium but usually come in under £50. For chunky boots, Shoe Zone and Deichmann do budget-friendly versions for around £30 that give the same rugged edge without the Dr. Martens price. Keep accessories simple, you can find silver chains and minimalistic jewellery at New Look or Accessorize for under £10. There you have it, you've got Charlie's look for just £100!

Charlie XCX at Coachella:

The Look:

Charlie XCX performed on the Coachella stage in April, wearing a custom Guess-Jeans white mini dress with a frilly ballerina-style skirt, a chunky white belt, black leather boots, black sunglasses.

The Dupes:

You can definitely recreate this look on a budget. Start with a white mini dress from either Nasty Gal, Boohoo and particularly Miss Selfridge, which you'll find exclusively at ASOS. Miss Selfridge has a great variety of frilly white dresses for under £30, which are a staple for summer beyond just festival season. You can pick up a white studded belt for around £10 from Yours Clothing, or bedazzle the belt yourself using a HotFix rhinestone applicator as mentioned above! For the chunky leather boots, Schuh have lots of option to choose from around the £30 mark. Don't forget to use a Schuh discount code to save some money on your order. Whilst Aldo is another alternative for shoes, they also provide a great selection of sunglasses for under £20. Why not place an order for your shoes and your shades, using an Aldo discount code for some serious savings? All in all, another iconic and truly stylish festival look, with up to four seperate items coming in at under £100 for the entire fit.

Other ways to elevate your festival look

Chunky Colourful Jewellery Compilation

Jewellery

Accessories can totally transform even the simplest festival outfit, and jewellery is the easiest way to do it. Layered gold chains, chunky rings, stacked bangles and body chains give off the perfect festival vibe, adding both personality and sparkle to your finished festival look, whilst using accessories you probably already have in your collection. However, if you're looking to pick up new sparkly bits without spending loads, then check out Lovisa and Accessorize which both have plenty of affordable options of bracelets, anklets, necklaces, earrings and more.

Jewellery doesn't have to stop at necklaces and bracelets either! You can go the extra mile by adding them to your clothes, like tank tops and T shirts. Buying pre-embroidered items does significantly increase the price of your items, and bead embroidery is (relatively) easy!

embroidery-layout-one

Here's a T-shirt that I embroidered myself recently, and this is exactly what you need to do the same!

Items you need:

  • Seed beads (90p-£18)
  • Thin embroidery needle (£1.20-£3.80 for a pack of 10)
  • Embroidery thread (£2-£17)
  • Stabiliser fabric (£1-£5)
  • Embroidery hoop (20p-£5)

"I get my items from Hobbycraft and Amazon and there are plenty of free tutorials on beading websites, on Youtube, and on Tiktok It also helps breathe new life into old clothes, reducing my desire to buy new ones and definitely saving me money overall!

Glam Makeup

Festival glam is where you can really have fun with your look, using products you may already have in your makeup bag at home! Shimmery eyeshadow, coloured eyeliner and a pop of lipstick might be all you need to really elevate your look, ready for fest! What's great about this is you don't even need to splurge on high-end palettes to achieve the look, brands like Revolution and Barry M have budget-friendly options that will do the trick! Shop our range of Boots discount codes and Superdrug discount codes to save money on your makeup order.

Face Glitter Eye Mask

Want to elevate your look without splurging on new makeup? Why not buy some face crystal stickers instead, using an Amazon discount code or Sephora discount code. For just a few quid, this can provide just enough glitz and glam to complete your festival look, without having to purchase new products.

Hats

Pink Festival Hats

Hats are such an easy way to level up your festival outfit and add a bit of fun. Added bonus: your head is protected from the sun so you can dance all day without feeling dizzy! Here I am above wearing a fluffy hot pink bucket hat for a festival I went to a few years ago. You don’t need to spend loads to find something similar either. I've found affordable options at both Accessorize and Anthropologie, adding the perfect touch to your festival look without breaking the bank.

Tote Bags

Colourful Tote Bag Compilation

Tote bags are a festival essential. They’re lightweight, easy to carry and can actually fit all the random bits you end up hauling around all day. I’ve always found Primark to be the best place to grab one, they’ve got loads of fun prints and colours, as cheap as £1.50! Plus, if it gets muddy or worn, you won’t feel bad about it.

Top Money-Saving Festival Style Tips

1

Shop off-season sales to save money on everything from clothing and accessories to shoes and jewellery. Keepy your eyes peeled for brands having mid-season flash sales in June and July, right in time for festival season. If you're a new customer, take advantage of first-customer discount codes and even newsletter sign up codes for extra discount, usually offering between 10% - 20% across your order.

2

Check the ‘sale’ and ‘trending’ sections on websites like ASOS, Boohoo and PrettyLittleThing before heading straight to new-in. You’ll usually find cheaper, similar styles that can help you recreate celebrity-inspired looks for less.

3

Instead of buying new, borrow key items like jackets, bags, boots and even jewellery from friends and family. Especially pieces you'll only wear for a day festival or a weekend!
