Our aim is for every young person we work with to become a positive force for change in their own life, and the lives of others. Our vision is that every young person we support is able to move from childhood to adulthood with the tools they need to thrive.

We do this by creating national programmes and supporting youth groups across the UK to deliver social engagement, social learning, social action and social leadership opportunities to young people so they can develop the skills needed to succeed in life.

Did you know...

UK Youth has positively impacted 729,694 young people through the infrastructure support we provide to community based youth groups across the country.

68,583 of these young people have taken part in a UK Youth national project or attended Avon Tyrrell, our outdoor activity centre in the New Forest National Park.

The young people we work with come from all walks of life, as we provide an open access service. However, we have observed that 79.5% of young people we support come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Our most recent impact evaluation has seen young people identify an increase of over 20% in many of their crucial life and employability skills such as communication, problem solving and self-esteem.

What makes UK Youth different

Our Reach – being an umbrella organisation for a national network of youth clubs and projects we are able to reach over 700,000 young people across the UK

Our Programmes – we run a diverse range of programmes from The Big Music Project to Digital Youth Hubs which enable young people to gain the skills they need to succeed in life.
