Cambridge Past, Present & Future

We are working to keep Cambridge and its surroundings special by positively influencing planning developments, delivering environmental education and managing the green spaces and historic buildings in our care – for the enjoyment and benefit of all.

Did you know...

We look after the much loved green space, Wandlebury Country Park as well as Coton Countryside Reserve, Hinxton Watermill, Bourn Windmill and the historic Leper Chapel, Cambridge’s oldest complete building.

We run lots of events and activities which provide learning for all ages.

Over 100 schools visit us each year for nature educational visits and Iron Age history understanding.

We’ve been around for almost 90 years and have more than 1600 members as well as many dedicated volunteers without whom we could not undertake so much work.

What makes Cambridge Past Present & Future different

We undertake such a wide range of activities – from commenting on planning applications to caring for public green open spaces; from looking after historic mills to running a wide range of events and activities for all ages and all this takes place in the area local to Cambridge.

Other ways to support

Volunteer to help our work – lots of different ways to help us, both in our small office or outside caring for our green spaces.
