Impact on disability sport
Football - Throughout the country, people with cerebral palsy find it hard to find enough teammates and resort to other sports which aren’t necessarily their preferred options. CP Sport has created excellent partnerships in several regions in England and Wales to allow people to play football. Anybody wanting to join a competitive grass-roots level league, find more information in their Football section of the website.
Athletics - CP Sport offers a range of opportunities for athletes looking to get into athletics. Anybody over the age of 11 is welcome, and there’s no upper age limit. Everyone can get involved with a range of disciplines. They work closely with England Athletics to ensure suitable equipment and good quality coaching is provided at mainstream clubs to help them understand what a CP athlete needs to get a good experience from their sport.
