The Conservation Volunteers

TCV connects people and green spaces to deliver lasting outcomes for both. We do this by bringing people together to make a real difference in their local communities, ensuring we have green spaces which are accessible for everyone to enjoy.

From local parks and community gardens to nature reserves; schools and hospitals, working with our volunteers we help to care for waterways, wetlands, woodlands and wildflower meadows.

Our projects create the opportunity for people of all ages to work together and make a real difference in their own communities.

Did you know...

  • Annually we support over 14,000 projects

  • Since 2015 we have helped plant over 750,000 trees

  • Each year we generate 140,000 volunteer days

  • 17,000 children visit a TCV project each year

What makes TCV different

As one of the largest outdoor community focused charities in the UK, what sets TCV aside are the incredible volunteers we work with every single day. TCV enables people to support projects in the heart of their communities, benefiting the environment, improving health and wellbeing and positively impacting social isolation.

On average TCV will support over 11,000 volunteers every year sharing our skills, knowledge and experience to make a positive difference to their lives.

Other ways to support

At the heart of TCV are our volunteers, without these we simply couldn’t exist. From Green Gyms to food growing programmes to land management, there are hundreds of opportunities to get involved, make new friends and learn new skills.
