Hand on Heart

Our mission is to keep children safe and help prevent the deaths of 12 young people who die each week due to sudden cardiac arrest in the UK

Did you know...

Our vision – that all educational establishments and community facilities for children’s activities have defibrillators in place, are confident to manage a health emergency and that deaths from sudden cardiac arrest are prevented.

What makes Hand on Heart different

Hand on Heart helps create awareness of sudden cardiac arrest in the young. Place defibrillators into schools and community groups and educate staff and students lifesaving skills and how to use a defibrillator. Over the past 6 years we have placed over 1000 defibs in the community, provided AED training to 9,353 staff and given more than 38,000 students basic life skills. Plus, we help to protect more than 330,000 hearts daily!
